Zoe Sarabo

Executive Director
Zoe Sarabo migrated from Georgetown, Guyana in 2005 to pursue her collegiate career at Arizona State University. After graduating with her Master’s Degree, Zoe was employed by organizations that provided services to the African immigrant community. Zoe quickly became a part of the local African community, formed long-lasting bonds with persons from across the continent, and developed a love for its culture and fashion. At the same time Zoe recognized that African Fashion was gaining popularity among African Americans. As fate would have it, Zoe met an event planner who convinced her to plan a Pan- African Fashion show that Arizona had not yet experienced showcasing modern African styles. The Sultry Summer Fashion show had 7 designers, 35 models and approximately 180 in attendance. The event was recognized as being the first African Fashion show to be organized at that scale in Phoenix l. In response to feedback and recognizing the growing demand Zoe established a Fashion Brand that would offer custom-made and ready-made pieces. From its creation in 2015 Sarabo has evolved into being more than a Clothing brand.
